Paredos Benefits from the 100 Voice Project
The 100 Voice Project now in its 2nd Season, has attracted more talented singers and instrumentalists. This
Project aims to bring persons of various backgrounds each year to prove that music is a universal language.
In addition there is the promotion of peace as well as the improving and enhancing of the quality of choral
music in the Caribbean Region.
Kelsang Pawo – Nomadic Monk & Director of The Gesar Foundation of the UK, has kindly offered the
painting “Wish Fulfilling Tree” as a gift from the international artist Magdalena Rutkowska. As such
this painting will also be donated to the Barbados Charity Paredos. Paredos, under the directorship of
Mrs. Marcia Graham, is delighted to be in reception of this kind gesture as well as to be the chosen
charity of this year’s 100 Voice Project. The 2011 Season takes place at the Parish Church of
Saint Thomas, on August 20th at 7:00pm and August 21st at 7:30pm.

from its inception, facilitating the production. In addition there is the transformation of the church and
the building into an incubator for the arts. Chamber Musicians & Singers this year will be from countries
including Antigua, St. Lucia, Dominica, Trinidad, St. Vincent, USA and also select musicians from across
the Barbados landscape. Further to this, Marc Mir of France and John Koeiman of Barbados have also
